Beloved Ones,

The beginning of a purification support group can occur when two or more wish to begin the process of purification by enhancing the light that each is capable of carrying. Such a desire is of benefit both to the self and to the earth as a whole. This amplification of light is created both by engaging in a regular daily spiritual practice, and by coming together with others with sacred intent to create a combined energy that is of benefit to the whole.

To start a purification support group it is not necessary that the reasons be clear to the mind. Most important are the reasons of the heart, including the desire to live a life that holds God at the center and to create a healing of body, mind, and emotions in those areas that are in need of it.

When a purification support group begins, it is useful to incorporate certain elements that have been found to be helpful as ways of inviting more light to be present. While these elements will certainly help to move things forward, what is most essential is the heart-centered intention of each participant to let love be the guiding principle within the group, and to let attunement to God's love infuse the group and form the basis for whatever decisions need to be made.

Here are some of the things that have been found to help a group maintain a coherent energy pattern that invites light to enter the sacred group space:

1) An opening prayer followed by a short period of silent meditation which includes the Practice of Alignment.(See the "Calendar of Light.") This practice brings energy to the body, heart, and mind, and allows for a greater inflow of light and of spiritual guidance.

2) A discussion of personal experiences as they relate to light and darkness.

3) Reading and sharing from "Principles of Sacred Consciousness" as the basis for understanding principles of purification.

4) A closing period of silent meditation with a focus on bringing energy to the heart and letting go of mental processing.

Purification Support Group weekends that help stabilize light in mind, heart, and body, and enable participants to begin their own groups are available now in Massachusetts. These weekends focus on maintaining a specific energy of light and offer a focus of study based on the book "Principles of Sacred Consciousness."
