Letting Go of Shame
Julie Redstone
I have lied and betrusted a friend I met online a year and four months ago. I told him all the the truth about myself except I email a pic that wasn't myself. We finally met last weekend and we kept talking throughout last week and he still thought the person he met last week wasn't me. He ask me out again this weekend I he made me feel very conforable and torn my feeling down like I have never been torn dow. Please help me feel that I'm worth I feel worthless and no good - Ana----------------------- My dear Ana, You are not worthless, but are carrying a great deal of shame around with you that you need to let go of. This shame made you send a picture to your internet friend in the first place that was not you. And now the same shame is causing you to feel worthless. Dear one, the only way to heal the feeling of shame is to stop doing things that make you feel ashamed, and also to stop denying who you are in body, appearance, mind, or heart. You are judging yourself too harshly from the outside in rather than from the inside out, and feel too easily that you are lacking in things. Let go of shame, beloved one. And realize that you are a soul with inherent worth that does not need to hide or misrepresent yourself to others. You have come to the Earth to be who you are, not to be somebody else. Be who you are with courage, not shame, and you will begin to feel God's grace with you in ways that you have not felt it before. Blessings. Julie Redstone
