Beloved Children of the Light,

Please join us as we inaugurate the new year with a new effort on behalf of the earth and her inhabitants. This effort comes at a time of expanding light upon the earth, bringing with it changes to the consciousness of many. In this time of transition, a deliberate effort to strengthen the light-connections between people across the globe, literally creates 'lines of light' that circumvent the planet. These help with the process of planetary transformation, and also contribute to the expansion of light within the body and consciousness of all.

For those who wish to do more to help the earth, we invite you to sit with us in prayer or meditation in whatever way is most comfortable for you to connect with the experience of light. For this purpose, the Practice of Alignment may be used during the sitting time with the idea of joining our individual hearts and light-bodies with the body of the earth and with others.

If you are not familiar with this type of meditative practice, or if you have difficulty meditating, it is still possible for you to participate in this united effort. During the meditation time, let yourself sit in silence with a prayerful heart that desires the healing of the earth and of others. Also, pray to feel light expanding within you, since asking in this way will open inner pathways that bring more energy to mind, heart, and body.

Please do not underestimate the significance of sitting with others in this way as a means of affecting the world and its consciousness. Not only will all efforts combine into a greater synergistic whole, but also the Realms of Light will be participating in this effort, joining with all whose hearts yearn to bring the world into a more loving place.
