Strength of heart is one of the most precious gifts you can give to yourself, and to your fellow souls upon the Earth. What is strength of heart? Strength of heart is strength in God's love. It is the willingness to love fully and completely.

Strength of heart is an openness to life and learning in every moment. It is the courage to know yourself deeply, and to allow yourself to experience the full range of human emotions.

Strength of heart is the desire to give to others and the willingness and courage to do so. Strength of heart is the willingness to take risks, and to go out on a limb for one's faith.

Strength of heart is a quality that all souls are born with the capacity to embody, however not all souls are able to easily access it. To connect with the strength of your heart, it is necessary to be willing to be vulnerable.

If you hold yourself with fear, defending against possible attacks, the heart closes and love cannot flow. Faith cannot be felt, and God's reality seems like a dream.

Strength of heart manifests through faith and through surrender. Surrender is the willingness to allow God to be the pilot of your life, the willingness to say Not my will but Thy will be done.

True surrender requires faith and courage, the courage to release your habitual patterns of behavior and thought. It is only through letting go of the old that you can open to the new.

Surrender allows the soul to be moved into greater alignment with God. Through surrender the soul is able to sing a new song, and to be made new through God's grace and love.

Strength of heart is the vehicle which makes possible this holy transformation of the soul. You already have this divine quality within you. Value it, and treasure it as a precious gift that will bring you home to God and that will allow you to contribute your own soul's unique gift to the world.
